Improving body functions is possible not only through regular memory training, quality nutrition and physical activity. Thanks to scientific advances, there are technologies that help enhance cognitive abilities.

On October 12, the first Ukrainian neuropsychologist Bohdan Tkach will talk about modern neurotechnologies that can improve brain activity at Brain Ukraine 2021.

Bohdan is the founder of the Ukrainian scientific school of neuropsychology and a Doctor of Psychology. Author of over 70 scientific papers in the field of clinical neuropsychology, deviantology, sexology and neuromarketing.

In 2006, he got Ukraine’s first PhD in the field of neuropsychology, and in 2019, he became the first doctor of neuropsychology in the country.

Previously, the speaker has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the Humanitarian Institute under the National Aviation University and a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Psychology of Socially Disadapted Adolescents at G. S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. For the last three years, he has been working as a senior researcher at I. O. Synytsia Laboratory of Educational Psychology under G. S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

In 2005, a scientist discovered and described a syndrome of impaired communication between the left prefrontal cortex and the brainstem. He discovered the dichotomy of the cognitive style of decision-making in uncertain situations with free choice.
